    It is a wonderful opera, with some of the best "choruses" (my favorite part of any opera, NOT the fat lady singing).

    Dueling trumpet/coronet is to die for! :cool:

    Yes, it's an opera. A wonderful one. I've not seen it, but I have a recording.

    If you're not into opera, you can get the same story from Elton John and Tim Rice's version.

    I saw it tonight.

    I cannot even imagine it as an opera. Thank God.

    I enjoyed it.
