Extreme Evolutionary " Scientists "

Extreme evolutionary "scientists" are suggesting that if the human race does not destroy itself
or become extinct, we could possibly solve our ultimate problems or possibly be saved by benevolent aliens.
Before our sun completely burns out we would be able to move out of our solar system
into another life zone. As our universe continues to expand exponentially
and before the galaxies, solar systems, planets, elements and atoms rip apart,
we would transfer our conscientiousness into a sustained life form and move to a parallel universe.
Hypothetically, infinite singularities will provide infinite universes and we would continue to relocate.

This ridiculous scenario does not help one single person who has already died or one single person alive today !

Physics cannot answer the questions of Theology.
Theology answers the questions of good and evil, life and death, love
and eternity. Historically and logically, Theology is the master university science
and central in the development of higher education at Paris, Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Yale and Princeton.
There are thousands of dissertations demonstrating the apologetics of scripture and the divinity of Jesus Christ.

Man is a body, a soul and a spirit. The body is born alive.
The soul is born everlasting. The spirit is born dead.

KJV John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily,
I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

KJV John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh;
and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

KJV John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

KJV 1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed,
but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

KJV Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away,
but my words shall not pass away.

Death is the central issue of life, the resurrection the only solution.

KJV 1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope
by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

KJV Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you,
he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

KJV Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock:
if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him,
and will sup with him, and he with me

Name one evolutionary scientist that thinks we might be rescued by benevolent aliens.

That's not what he said. He said solve OR be rescued by benevolent aliens. Naturalistically, those are the only alternatives.

It seems a fair question to name one "extreme evolutionary scientist" that "suggests" we could "possibly be saved by benevolent aliens."

I do know on Star Trek, benevolent aliens (Capt Kirk and the spaceship Enterprise) often save life forms on other planets. Going back further, we have the Day the Earth Stood still, where an alien comes to warn us saying we must grow up or suffer the wrath of Kort.

Today we get a constant stream of movies teaching godless thinking dressed up as science fiction, but really are propaganda from the godless left. How many movies show how prisoners are lied to, tricked, or tormented and mutilated to extract information for a "good cause." People conditioned to this sort of thinking are ready to take their place as guards in a Nazi death camp.

The body of Christ is divided. Some say man is made up of three parts, body, soul and spirit, but others (including me) say man is made up of body and spirit with the soul being the core attitudes and attributes of the spirit. Our "spirit/soul" is formed within us by God, Zechariah 12:1.

To be spiritually dead means to be spiritually separated from God, i.e. in a sinful state. Thus to be made sinners is to be made in a separated from God sinful state as a consequence of Adam's sin.

Why don't you simply name one of these scientists?

Can't answer for anyone but me, but I do not make it a point to record the names of, in this case scientists, that run their spiels on documentaries.
I have watched hundreds of hours through the years and am unable to NAME a single contributor to any of them.
This covers earth, forests, sea, space, foods, and many more subjects.
Ergo the advice is probably pretty spot on!

Sure, I agree, I can't name one of the scientists on the documentaries I've watched either. But if someone posts on a forum, "there are evolutionary scientists that believe man will be saved by benevolent aliens, isn't it incumbent on that poster to have a citation at the ready? Do you know how many kooky "scientists" are out there on a wide range of tin-foil hat subjects?

Allow me to rephrase my question: Why don't you simply name one of these credible scientists?

The "theory" is called directed panspermia - proposed by the late Francis Crick - discoverer of the structure of DNA

Panspermia is the idea that life was accidentally seeded on earth from organisms hitching a ride on comets or asteroids. It can also include life being deliberately seeded here by aliens. So far as I know there is no sub class in the theory of panspermia that stipulates that aliens will come back to save the species they seeded on earth.

So I guess I'm still waiting for the name of a credible evolutionary scientist that believes benevolent aliens will save the human race.

Would Contact with Extraterrestrials Benefit or Harm Humanity? A Scenario Analysis

Seth D. Baum, Jacob D. Haqq-Misra,& Shawn D. Domagal-Goldman

1. Department of Geography, Pennsylvania State University.

2. Department of Meteorology, Pennsylvania State University

3. NASA Planetary Science Division

While humanity has not yet observed any extraterrestrial intelligence (ETI), contact with ETI remains possible. Contact could occur through a broad range of scenarios that have varying consequences for humanity. However, many discussions of this question assume that contact will follow a particular scenario that derives from the hopes and fears of the author. In this paper, we analyze a broad range of contact scenarios in terms of whether contact with ETI would benefit or harm humanity. This type of broad analysis can help us prepare for actual contact with ETI even if the details of contact do not fully resemble any specific scenario.

http://usgovinfo.about.com/b/2011/08/23/nasa-aliens-might-eat-us-in-self-defense.htm

In a report titled, Would Contact with Extraterrestrials Benefit or Harm Humanity? A Scenario Analysis, scientists from NASA's Planetary Science Division and Pennsylvania State University present three potential outcomes of humankind's first contact with extraterrestrial intelligence (ETI) - space aliens. From best to worst, say the scientists, our "close encounter" with ETI could turn out to be beneficial, neutral or harmful to humans.
Beneficial: It could be all good! ETI might cooperate with us in solving many of the problems facing humanity. If, on the other hand, ETI is not so cooperative, we might defeat them, winning a huge moral victory and a chance to commandeer their advanced technologies.

In the secular world, the two greatest mysteries are, is there life after death, and is there life elsewhere in the universe. As Christians, we know the answer to the first question.

None of us know, in all honesty, if life exists elsewhere in the universe of not. All we know as Christians is that if it is there, God created it. There is nothing in Scripture that says there is not life in other parts of God's creation.

Even if there is life, it does not mean it is intelligent or advanced as we are. Even if the life is advanced or intelligent or both, that does not mean aliens have visited earth, or even know it is here. The whole concept of a benevolent alien helping us is off the radar.

The best science fiction episode I ever saw on this concept was a Twilight Zone called "To Serve Man." Great story but fiction. Of course, in the end, after the aliens had helped us in many ways, we find out the book "To Serve Man" was a cookbook.

All good entertainment, but my Savior is the Creator of the universe.
