Faith In Fauci Plummets, Especially Among Republicans: Poll

The number of Americans who trust Dr. Anthony Fauci has dropped sharply over the past year, according to a recent poll.

Of those asked whether their confidence in Fauci had gone up or down in the past year, 42.2% of those surveyed expressed a “decreased” trust in the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), according to a Trafalgar Group poll. Of that segment, 12.1% said their confidence simply “decreased,” while 30.1% said their trust had “decreased significantly.”

It's sad that Fauci is being played as left or right. What this tells me is that media outlets are hellbent on polarizing people.
Fauci is simply leading the CDC as the department works to understand the coronavirus. He's neither left nor right.

Yet, here you are trying to turn this whole thing into politics simply because you are consumed with the idol of politics as your source of hope.

Puh-leeze. One need only to listen to know Fauci is a liar.

In Februrary of 20, he was worried about a 2nd wave of H1N1 that he said was "especially deadly to 'our' children." Did he propose school closings and other lockdowns? Masks?

Originally advising that masks aren't the protection people think they are, then saying he really didn't mean that, and that he was just saying it because of a mask shortage.

He was adamant early in the outbreak that in all the history of respiratory diseases, including SARS, the drivers in outbreaks have been symptomatic people, but then flip-flopped when the W.H.O. said asymptomatic transmission is rare.

His absolute and brazen refusal to acknowledge the great success of actual practitioners in treating Covid-19 early with HCQ (a drug he lied about) and other repurposed drugs.

The guy is a liar, and has killed thousands with his lies. He solemnized the medieval and unscientific method of lockdowns, ostensibly to battle an epidemic, when eminent epidemiologists and public health authorties insist the lockdowns were neither needed nor effective.

If that's what you want to believe....

so Austin is saying you have the inability to believe and correctly understand because you only have the ability to rely on the media sources. Apparently he knows you intimately enough he has determined that you lack the cognitive skills to come to your own conclusions.

The other option is Austin is just a political hack him/her self and only posts emotionally and simply lashed out at you since they did not like your post.

Not sure which. (Well I am but you can figure it out on your own I’m quite sure)

The option is to stop making everything about left wing vs right wing politics, which is exactly what FOX, CNN and other media centers are doing. And y'all just drink the Kool-aid...

Yeah the truth is I don't even watch much media. The truth is, I, in my job, get a health update every single day and read DOZENS of articles on health issues daily from a variety of MEDICAL sources as well as news outlets.

However, some things ARE about politics. The virus itself is not, but the response most definitely has been.

Speaking of Dr. Fauci, starting at about 12:00 minutes in this video.

Katie Sanders, PolitiFact: “There’s a lot of cloudiness around the origins of COVID-19 still, so I wanted to ask, are you still confident that it developed naturally?”

Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases (in the context of complaining about Rand Paul suggesting that our collaboration at Wuhan makes us have some responsibility before directly answering the question, nevertheless says): “No, I am not convinced about that, I think we should continue to investigate what went on in China until we continue to find out to the best of our ability what happened.”

Right...

It's fun to see the anti-vaccer's swarm to support each other...
What right-wing medical journal are you reading to support conspiracy theories?

Your kool-aid has sugar?
Then you need to care a little more about your health so we can argue politics for a longer period.
