This does not surprise me. It is the natural end of dipensationalism. Falwell as well has Hagee have been apostate for years and no believer should follow them to the kitchen sink.

Not all dispensationalists believe that to be correct, so I would be careful to paint with such broad strokes Brother James.

I see nothing but a bunch of quotes from people not named Jerry Falwell and John Hagee. I have yet to see an actual quote from Jerry Falwell and John Hagee in regards to dual covenant theology, so I will not pass judgement. Be careful people. Sites like this are nothing more than gossip and slander if actual quotes (in context) of those in question are not supplied.

Webdog makes a good point. The JP article in the OP says that someone said this is what Falwell said. If that's not heresay, I don't know what is.

Your're right. Most don't. They just haven't carried it to the extreme yet.

My memory says that Falwell got some negative press several years ago when he made a statement along the lines of "God doesn't hear the prayers of the Jews" because they didn't accept Christ. So I would put a large amount of doubt on quotes about him saying anything to the contrary.

Not knowing the papers in Israel, is the Jerusalem Post considered a reliable source? The reason I ask is because after reading the article, it looks mostly like gossip and he said, she said type of stuff. Not a direct quote in the lot from what I could see.

What have you to say now that it has been rebutted by Falwell? Would you still call his view of salvation as HE quotes it to be apostate?

    ONE WAY TO HEAVEN

In this age of political correctness and diversity, the traditional evangelical belief that salvation is available only through faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ is often portrayed as closed-minded and bigoted. But if one is to believe in Jesus Christ, he must believe in His words: “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father but by Me” (John 14:6). I simply cannot alter my belief that Jesus is The Way to heaven, as He taught.

You quoted quotes of those who quoted John Hagee, nothing different than the source given for the false information in this OP. Heresay = GOSSIP. Tread lightly when you say "yup...he said it".

I'm glad Jerry didn't say it. However, he is still an ecumenical apostate.

Secondly, I watch Hagee every chance I get now, and his theology is a bit lopsided when it comes to the Jewish people. He now has rabbi Daniel Lappin on his show endorsing his new book about Jerusalem in prophecy. That is where I watched him make some of his latest statements.I don't care if Falwell makes a statement for Hagee that he is not into dual covenant. I want to see one from Hagee.
