I was wondering if anyone had heard Petra is doing there farewell tour.I wasn't aware of this until I heard they are coming to our town October 27th.I'm not the biggest fan of their music I enjoyed the Jekyll and Hyde CD but will miss the ministry oriented band. This will be my first actual Petra concert so I'm excited.

Saw them once a few years back, and enjoyed them. Say goodbye for me, Nate!

I saw them at a teen conference in Springfield, Il in 1990. I was disappointed actually. It was their "Beyond Belief" tour, which is one of their many CD's that I really like. The drums were too loud and the guitars too loud and I found it difficult to enjoy the songs. Mind you, I was 21 at the time and thought they were too loud. I love Petra's music, though. On most of their CD's, over half the songs are good and on a couple CD's, every song is good.

I've got to hurry and get tickets! I keep putting if off. Probably try and get them tomorrow. I think our church office probably is selling them they usually do so. Thanks for the link.

They've been around for 33 years. I feel like it will probably be like watching history in the sense of they were one of the first and best Christian bands.

I work at a Christian radio station part time and I haven't heard about it. We only play their older stuff though.

I have been to several different Christian concerts and have occasionally been disappointed.
