Fasting

I was wondering what is the average length spent in fasting. By fasting I mean with just water and length I mean days. I know of a pastor who fasts every week, and sometimes he will fast for 1 week straight if the strongholds are really bad. His church fasts every Wednesday for people who need delivered.
