For those of us who make it a purpose to find God's truth everywhere, many have been "touched" by secular music.

The sec sgs currently doing something for me:

    1) YHWH by U2

    2) Walking in Memphis by Marc Cohn

    3) Faithful by Journey

    4) Go Rest High on that Mountain by Vince Gill

    Yours?

    Inquisitive regards,
    Moi

I think my signature line says it all. I'm not much on the song itself but the words make one heck of a prayer...

"Bridge Over Troubled Water" always reminded me more of Jesus than a regular person.

I totally agree. I love the Michael W. Smith version on Healing Rain.

Helen, you beat me to this one. I was also thinking about Carole King's "You've Got a Friend." Anyone here familiar with Kate Cambell? She does a mixture of secular and religious music. I've always liked her album Wandering Strange. The first song on it is "The House you Live In" by Gordon Lightfoot. It has a strong spiritual character to it. You can learn more about Kate Cambell here.

Someone in another thread took me to task for using a quote from Neil Young in my signature. So, I thought I would find a song of his to contribute to this thread. I'm still looking.

And for the sappy song lovers out there, who can forget Debby Boone's "You Light Up My Life".

Now you won't be able to quit singing it in your head!! :BangHead:
