Spectator is football...more specifically Saturday afternoon college football; as for what i take part in myself, it would be golf even though i have not played in over a year now.

Football/American NCAA collegiate level. Professional has lost its appeal.
If you were to bring back the '72 Dolphins I just might change my mind.

Bring them back in what sense? A run-oriented offense with the fullback as the leading gainer? The "no-name" defense at the time? and come to think of it there are only 2 names I can think of even now-- Buontcanni and Jake Scott. Or do you mean go back in time to the football of that era?

I voted for other because I really, really dislike sports. Every Thanksgiving and Christmas I volunteer to hand wash and dry all the dishes while the rest of the family and in-laws watch football. My husband took me to Sport Mart once. . .he didn't do it again.

Feel free to visit during the holidays. Here, no one wants to clean since everyone (including the women) wants to watch football. Your husband should count his blessings.

I have sports divided into catagories of enjoyment:

TV: Football - for obvious reasons. I do not understand it but find it quite amusing. I have a favorite postion, but shall refrain from posting it as I do not want my post to be deleted. :D

Radio: Baseball - Listening to baseball is soothing to me as it takes me back to my childhood, listening to Twins games and fishing with my grandpa and great-grandpa. I loved my brother's league games and was their biggest cheerleader. I tend to get excited at sporting events. Can't beat the cheap seats in the summer at the park.

Live: Basketball - I used to go to St. Mary's games with my grandpa as a kid and loved when the college crowd would get the gym rumbling. I would sit with the cheerleaders and have a blast. Then go home and see if we made it on the news. :D I will not pass up an opportunity to see a game.

Summer Olympic: Swimming - :D

Winter Olympic: Super-G

Golf make me sleepy.

NASCAR is not a sport.

Winston Churchill said there were only two sports and all the rest were games. The two sports, auto racing and mountain climbing, or that is from the great man himself.
