Favorite Sports Teams

In New Jersey they are identifying the Philly Eagles only. Wrong, the Giants & Jets in Northern NJ and Eagles in South Jersey. Just like hockey, there are allot of NY Ranger’s fans and then there is the Devil Ray's

 

My favorite teams are the Angels and the Rams, but I can root against the Astro's and Forty-niners with the best of them.

On a different note, I rooted for the Chiefs, but it looked to me like the fix was in based on numerous calls.

 

In Long Island it would be the Mets.

Just saw an article informing everyone that Northern Jersey cares little if at all for the Philly Eagles … mostly they are considered hated rivals. Even if your from Pennsylvania, you tend to associate with the Pittsburgh Steelers. People will come together in Pennsylvania over college football for Penn State (maybe Pitt—generally if you have had a few). Lastly, Since there are a ton of Catholics, some still follow Notre Dame… even lapsed Catholics.

 

My favorite teams - Houston Astros, Dallas Stars, Dallas Cowboys, San Antonio Spurs.

Teams I root against - New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Lakers.

 

I became a Razorback fan in 1964 even though I was living near Corpus Christi. That turned out to be a good thing as I moved to Arkansas in 1978. I still root for the Razorbacks but with the transfer portal and NIL stuff, my interest in college sports is waning.
