Firefox Problem

    On occasion, I will hit website with video, and the screen will say something like "plugin missing." And the bar above will say "download plugin." I've done that, but nothing happens.

    I think it's the same thing that produces the IE 7 error-must shut down message cited by Brian in his IE7 Problem/Question thread.

    Thanks for any help.

    If you right click on the link you might be able to download it and find out what the file extension is, then go to firefox and find the plugin.

    You might also be able to just double click on the downloaded file and something on your computer may run it. Firefox has a couple hicups like that.

    You might also try MS explorer or netscape and try the same site and see if they work.

    I've had that happen, too, but I just download the plug in.
    Interesting, one of the plugs ins allowed the MSN Ads to show up.

    I know this is a little late, but NEVER download the plug-in unless you know and trust the site.

    Download the latest Flash, Jave, Shockwave, Quicktime, and WMP plugs from thier respective sites, then you're covered.
