I have used firefox for a number of years. IE always crashes. I ahve come across my first problem with it. It will not open an online program I need. so I went to uninstall it but the interesting thing is I cannot find it listed in my programs in the control panel. I also looked under disk C and cannot find it there in the programs files to delete it. Neither is it listed under start>programs except as a link to engage it.

I did a search under start but that did not turn anything up either. Yet here i am posting this in my firefox browser. I want to uninstall it completely and reinstall it to see if that will fix whatever the issue is.

Anyone have any thoughts on how to get it uninstalled.

    What issue are you having?

BTW, I recommend downloading CCleaner. It is free and is very good and cleaning out the cobwebs and clutter.

You could have uninstalled Firefox using CCleaner. Click on Tools on the left, Uninstall will be right up top. Click on the program you want to uninstall then click "Run Uninstaller" on the right. CCleaner does an excellent job of uninstalling programs.
