    According to Mark 16:9 NASB:
Now after He had risen early on the first day of the week, He first appeared to Mary Magdalene, from whom He had cast out seven demons.

However, since this statement appears in the ending of Mark, which modern scholarship believes is an uninspired addition to the text, we should not accept it as doctrine, unless also stated or supported by another scripture, not under an authorship cloud.

In Matthew 28:5-10 we see that Jesus appeared to "the women" who have visited the tomb, as they were returning to the disciples.

John's gospel has Jesus appearing to Mary Magdalene after returning to the tomb with Peter and John, not before reaching the disciples.

In Luke 24:3, "they" some or all of the women, entered the tomb, but Luke does not say specifically that Mary Magdalene entered with them. So the account in Luke can be understood to be consistent with John's account of her not knowing Jesus had arisen.

In Luke 24:10 Mary Magdalene is listed with the women returning from the tomb and telling the disciples the tomb was empty. This creates the confusion, was Mary Magdalene with the other women when Jesus appeared per Matthew 28:5-10, or did she return separately, missing His appearance, thus still not knowing He had arisen?

A separate return fits with all scripture except Mark 16:9. Thus, we can consider the statement in Mark 16:9 as apocryphal.

Thus an answer to the question, first appearance of Jesus, can be to the the women, not including Mary Magdalene, returning to the disciples after being told Jesus had arisen. See Matthew 28:5-10.
