Sadiq Khan, London's first Muslim mayor, is a major proponent of open-borders across the globe. During a trip to New York City in September of 2016, Khan lectured Americans on the reality of terror, saying that attacks are “part and parcel of life in a big city.”

Matt, the op said attacks are “part and parcel of life in a big city.” This is an example of such muslim attacks.

"Open borders" is another discussion (one reason perhaps for such attacks, but this was son of a legal immigrant). You are picking up on a side issue and NOT the real focus of the thread.

This should NOT be "part and parcel" of ANY life, ANY where.

Well, it was the first half of the thread title and the opening words of the OP, so not sure how you draw from that that it's a mere 'side issue'. And, I think the point he was making (and has made again in the last week) re the second half of the thread title and OP, is that terrorism is unfortunately a facet of life with which we have to deal, indeed, as a country we have learned to cope with it by and large (note: not accept but cope): don't forget that we had over 20 years of Irish Republican terrorism which caused much more death, disruption and general mayhem whilst I was growing up than (so far, thank God) the Islamist variety has; go back further, and my father's generation had German bombs and V2 rockets raining down on cities (not strictly speaking terrorism but with similar effects). In the words of Winston Churchill, "we can take it" so please forgive Londoners and their Mayor if their response to the terrorists is something like this: Fake tube message speaks for whole country after terror attack, says MP

Well he was radicalized by Muslims who migrated to the UK. That seems to me to involve open borders.
