For Those Who Do Not Care For Romney

For those cannot bring themselves to vote for Romney for any of several reasons that have been discussed at length, would the addition of Santorum as Vice-President make any difference in your decision?

Adding Santorum would make Romney much less attractive to me.
I might well have voted for McCain if he had not picked Palin as his VP. The thought of her being one heartbeat away from being the president was terrifying.

Baloney!

You would never have voted for anyone other than Obama. If VPs made a difference, all you have to do is take a look at Obama's, a certified idiot. He would have "frightened" you as well.

You may try to bamboozle us, but you should at least be honest with yourself. You would have voted for Obama even if Christ had been his opponent.

It would be a rare case for a VP to make a difference for me. In this election, I agree with Carpro's characterization of Biden. On the other side, there is no running mate that makes up for Romney being evil.

As much as I hate to say this, no it wouldn't.

You think you know me, but you don't. I always liked McCain and I was quite undecided. When he first tabbed Palin I thought it might be a good thing to have a woman running with him. Then I did some research and the more I learned the less I liked her until I decided it would be a total disaster if she were to ever become president.

I understand why Romney has had to play up to the Tea Party and the conservatives. But, with some of his statements it will take a lot to convince me that he has the average American's interest at heart.

It should be an interesting summer and campaign. However, if the Republican stay they course of pushing an agenda that will harm the middle class and the poor I doubt would vote for any of them.

I was a registered Republican for years. Then the Republican Party shifted into a mean spirited organization. Also, in my state the Democratic primary is often the real election. I know many who are registered Democrats, but who really are Republicans at heart.

I have never voted a party line just because it was a particular party. I do vote for the person, regardless of party, who I think is the best candidate for the most people.

Santorum as VP would not make a difference. Rominey won't go with one that ran against him, they are too conservative for him. Look for a someone like a Kay Bailey Hutchison or Possibly OK Gov. Mary Falin she may be too conservative for him.

But it will be a female and she will be moderate to just center of right and Mary Falin may be too far reight, Kay Bailey Hutchison may be just right for him.

No Christian should be terrified of anyone God places in the Presidency. We trust in God, not Presidents. Pray for whomever God has decided would be President beginning 2013. As well as the one He has there now.

If what you say is true then none of the Nazis should have been tried as war criminals. They were simply the puppets that God used. That would make God a monster I do not believe in that God who would have millions of innocents slaughtered.

Voters put the president in office, not God. People have free will on who they will vote for.

Cheney was the de facto president during Bush2.

No "W" was the president Cheney did was the President serving as vice president. "W" made the decisions. He made some good ones and a few bad but as a man he would make some bad ones, after we humans make mistakes.

By tour thinking Nebuchadnezzar was not placed in power by God. 1In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant three years: then he turned and rebelled against him.
2 And the LORD sent against him bands of the Chaldees, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by his servants the prophets.
3 Surely at the commandment of the LORD came this upon Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did;
4 And also for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the LORD would not pardon.

Seems God brought Nebuchadnezzar in power to come against Judah, sounds like He was in fact using that nation to discipline another.

Then we see what Job said:

Job 12:23 "He increaseth the nations, and destroyeth them: he enlargeth the nations, and straiteneth them again."

God increases or destroys nations. He allows them to come to power and He takes them out of power.

I think Scripture is pretty clear that it is God who raises one up and brings another down. And he may often use people to do it. Yes, even the evil ones, and uses them for his purposes.

Now that Santorum has dropped out, it looks like we'll be stuck between a man that enables, empowers, and defends the murder of children or one that espouses a false Christ and false religion.

I have lots of praying to do about it yet, but at this point it looks like I will not be voting in this election. Perhaps there will be another candidate who, though he cannot win, will allow a vote that sends a message to the establishment about the evangelical vote.

Sure you do...as long as they are liberal enough. Obama has always fit the bill. Romney is not liberal enough to suit you. Neither was McCain. Regardless of his running mate.

Both men are antichrist, therefore I believe we are just to not cast a vote. Let God use whom He will to place the one whom He wants into leadership. It will not be on my record at the JSoC.

That is like saying, I did not try to intervene and stop the man. If God did not want her murdered he would have saved her.
