I guess Mark Fowley (R) is not alone. Seems that many perverts either want to get into Washington or are already there. It appears that some of the material in Jim Webb's book(s) is highly questionable if not illegal. Of course Webb (D) is running for office in the state of Virginia.

Here we have two grown men (Fowley and Webb) who seem to have serious morality problems. And you know what? One is a democrat and one is a republican. What should that tell us? Both parties are full of liars, perverts, hypocrites, and crooks. Don't like what I just said? Too bad because it is true.

    From CNS

Also see the report on Drudge. I could not link it to here since the content is highly graphic (X rated) and immoral. The CNS article will give you a good idea of what is going on.

    Now, what is the excuse?

Check this out (and try not to laugh or vomit, which ever the case maybe)

This is actually their defense of Webb's book...

"what Webb describes is actually a fairly common and completely normal custom in the Vietnam/Cambodia areas."

I guess that can be the new excuse for all sick perverts, right? Sadly those interested in partisan politics will buy into that Satanic lie. The truth is that Perversion is Perversion. It does not matter how many cultures practice it, nor how many people ok it. Perversion is still perversion.

I will not be voting in 2004 and I will not be voting again until we get some moral, honest, and level headed people running for office. From what I am seeing in Washington, and on the campaign trail, I suppose I will not be voting for many, many, many years to come.

I'd rather see you write-in a candidate, than sit out completely.

I'll be writing in a candidate, in '08, even if he doesn't run.

I greatly sympathize with your decision. I sometimes wonder why I am voting in this election. I guess out of habit.

Not voting is a good way to show displeasure to the political establishment. As a bumper sticker I saw said:

"Don't vote. It only encourages the politicians."

==If more people, Christian and non-Christian alike, would follow my lead and demand better then it would fix'em. However most people are willing to settle for the immoral liars we are sending to Washington now. I am no longer willing to do that. I will not vote for a liar, for a pervert, for a hypocrite, for a greedy person who is simply after money/fame, nor for a ignorant person who thinks being elected to office makes him/her smart. No more! The republicans are evil, the democrats are worse. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired of these people. Therefore, until there is real change, I am out. I refuse to be involved in their sinful game any longer.

This thread well documents that fact that there is no moral or any other difference between democrats and republicans, self serving, power hungry pigs that they are. However, the answer is not to stay at home. The answer is for us to get off our duffs and encourage enough people to put these two disguisting parties out of business and start over with two parties that will care about the American people.

==At one time I would have agreed with that and, in some places, that maybe well be possible. In my area there are "only" democrats and republicans. Now the local guys are alright generally I have no problem with them. It is at the national, and sometimes state, level where the problem is. I would love to see a third party get started that actually had a chance. As the system stands I doubt many moral, honest, upright people will throw their hat in the national ring.

Yes, as a citizen of the Commonwealth, I have a choice between the racist or the pervert. Wow.....

As I wouldn't vote for Allen if he ran for dogcatcher, I don't know who I am going to vote for.

An interesting side note, Drudge put the story on the website two nights ago, and the next morning, Rush Limbaugh read through the article verbatim, other than the obvious exclusions that could not be read on the air. He then attacked Webb. I wonder if he was a critical of Lynn Cheney, Newt Gingrich, or Scooter Libby? He mentioned Cheney and Gingrich, but claimed that they weren't explicit. Yeah, that's right, Rush.

I am beginning to believe that this will never happen.

    Regards,
    BiR

I much as I find the choices frequently dispicable, I just have to vote. My fear is that if I don't vote and you don't vote and then other people don't vote, that we'll lose that the right to vote and then what will our choice be?

I have (and most likely will) write in candidates.
