I just thought I would add a few of my favorite freeware sites/programs to your list:

1. Ad-aware 6.0 : To your recommendation of Spybot: Search & Destroy (http://spybot.eon.net.au/ ), I would add Ad-aware 6.0 (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/ ). I use both to combat spyware/adware.

2. Avant Browser : My favorite browser, the Avant Browser (http://www.avantbrowser.com/ ), is faster than IE6, has poppup supression, tabbed browsing, seamless integration with Word and Outlook Express (because it uses the IE6 engine), and great support. After trying the latest Netscape, Opera, and Mozilla browsers, I would recommend Avant over them all.

3. Leechget : For a download manager that significantly increases download speeds over IE6, my favorite is Leechget (http://www.leechget.de/ ), which has been a very stable and well supported program. And, although it is optimized for IE6, I have found that it also works flawlessly with the Avant Browser (perhaps because Avant is really just an Upgrade for IE6, although it is a stand-alone application).

4. Password Corral : (http://www.cygnusproductions.com/freeware/pc.asp )

5. Nonags : A site that does an excellent job of sifting through and offering only the best bug free, virus free, and spyware/adware free freeware programs.

Was the hard drive cleaner you mentioned at the Ultrasoft website called "Space Odyssey"? I wanted to be sure this was the right program .
