An administrator at the University of Toledo who was recently suspended for publicly expressing her viewpoint has now been fired. Crystal Dixon has filed suit against the school.

Wonder how many of the BB posters will quickly jump to the defense of the U of T and say there is no evidence of persecution against Christians.

The school countered that everyone knows she works for the university, so it paints a negative picture in terms of diversity.
In effect the reasoning is that there is no such thing as a "private citizen" where free speech is concerned, unless you are unemployed OR your employment is a secret!

This November just may be the pivot pointof whether there will be persecution of the Christians in this country or not. It's coming, barring a miracle from God, either this Nov. or a little later, regardless of the party in power.

Both of them are taking us to ruin, it's just that the Rs will be a little slower and the trip will be a little more civil. Same destination though!!

"[Dixon] said that somebody's sexual preference does not rise to the level of a civil right, like an immutable characteristic like sex or skin color. And she believed that that was something important for her to speak out about as a private citizen on a matter of public concern," Rooney points out.

The Law Center wants Dixon reinstated and may seek damages.

The president of the school informed Dixon that her biblical view does not conform to the university's policy of diversity. According to the pastor, the school's has a liberal policy toward homosexuality --

.......she used her First Amendment right," says Williams. "She didn't acknowledge herself to be a member of the staff of the University of Toledo or anything, [but] just as a citizen."

I am so amazed at just how many 'folks of color' quickly hop on the band wagon on behalf of homosexuals..... when the color of one's skin is observable and cannot change.... but the behavior referred to as 's*xual orientation requires some expression or communication outside the intimancy of the bedroom but entirely within the control of the deviant.
