    Nice piece of rhetoric.

    Kennedy forgets that Christ said there would always be people who were poor.

    What most liberals forget is a) you can't help those who won't help themselves and b) if you put enough beaurecracy(sp) in place to ensure you aren't giving aid to those who will only waste it/could support themselves then you'll spend more on overhead than on actual aid.
