I don'know about you folks, or where you live, but the streets have been rockin' and rollin' ever since the SCOTUS decision. And quite frankly, it is a little too much. For those of us who feel marriage is sacred and of God for one man and one woman, this ridiculous jubilation is more in the face of those on the religious right, than it should be.

Does anyone else feel the celebration is a little too much? Or am I just a spoil sport kind of person? :wavey:

To put this in context, consider how jubilant satan probably was when Jesus uttered His last words and succumbed to death! The next few days completely burst his bubble big-time.

These folks are just expressing the delight of their father, and the celebration WILL change to despair at some later time of His choosing!!

I have not watched or listened to the news since then because I just don't want this sin thrown in my face. It's sickening, honestly.

The road is extremely wide, and the number of folks on it saddens me greatly. That includes many of my own family who refer to me as the "born again fanatic"!" They don't understand that card carrying church members won't get into heaven. They have no concept of repentance and accepting Jesus into their heart and life. :tear::tear::tear::tear:

There have been celebrations in the past that I thought in bad taste at best and immoral at worst. For instance in England I thought it extremely bad when people danced in the street celebrating the death of M. Thatcher. Another that I disagreed with greatly has been any demonstration or celebration where the flag was burned.

Regardless of how bad a taste a particular celebration leaves in a person's mouth here in the States they have that right under the 1st Amendment. It doe not matter if I believe free speech goes that far or not. The SC has ruled it is Constitutional.

Join the crew Paul....thank the good lord my lovely wife is on board the Christian band wagon. But its the young people who have little or no concept of Christianity & our putting God 1st....and yes, that can become depressing. I will have to sit down with my own 24 YO son very soon, but like in times past he has spurned me each time I bring it up. :tear:

Just remember Paul, Christ is our Lord & Savior & we want all to come to salvation. that wont happen but we can still desire it & work towards it.

God bless you for your concerns but lighten up....God is in control.

And we all know that SCOTUS is infallible.

I Think There Has Been A Severe Modification

There'll be a hot time in the town of Berlin
When the Yanks go marching in
I wanna be there boy and spread some joy
When they take old Berlin

As sung by Dean Martin
