Getting free from pornography (and the porn industry as Babylon)

I've been preaching through the book of Revelation and as I read and studied the description of Babylon in Revelation 17-19 I noticed a number of similarities to the world wide sex industry and pornography. That prompted the video below. Here are some discussion questions (answer some, all, or none; watching the video is certainly not required but I pray it will be helpful for those who do):

1. Do you agree that porn is one of the evils doing the most damage to souls, families, churches, and cultures in our world today? Why or why not?
2. How can we best be on guard against porn?
3. If people have stumbled into a hard-to-break habit of watching porn, what can they do to get free? (note: I offer 7 practical strategies in the video, but I would like to hear your thoughts)
4. Do you agree that the sex industry is similar to Babylon as described in Revelation 17-18 in a number of ways? Explain.
5. Do you believe that porn should be treated as protected free speech? Why or why not?
6. What types of harm do you think porn does to those who watch it?
7. Other relevant thoughts?

I don't see porn as any different than any other sin. They all bad.

1. Porn and Feminism are the current idols of the age that are doing the most harm to men and women. Something like 80% of men watch it weekly. The stat is probably in the 90% range if you expand it to monthly (and if they answer honestly).

2. Computers should always be in a shared space, all computers should have accountability

3. They need an accountability partner that's willing to hold them accountable plus a renewed heart via Christ that gives them a desire to break their porn addiction. They also need a Godly outlet for their sexual desires, which is marriage with a submissive wife willing to meet her husbands God-given sexual needs.

4. I think it's part of the "Whore of Babylon", but I don't think it's the end of it. It will get much, much worse.

5. No, I think our nation's laws should be based off God's. IMO we tried secularism for over a century, and it didn't work. Time to go back to God's laws.

6. For men it lowers testosterone, creates unreal sexual expectations for both spouses, lowers the desire for marriage, and most important it erodes a man's moral standing to call out other immorality if he is not a hypocrite.

For women, it lowers their God-given value, creates unreal sexual expectations, destroys their trust in their husband, and creates self-image problems.
