Maybe. The reason I would is the toasted coconut ones taste good (especially after being in the freezer). The reason I wouldn't is I need to lose weight and they not only do not help but are counterproductive towards that need.

Samoas, I think that's what they call them. Ate a whole package of them once in one sitting when I was 13.

I know all the woke Girl Scouts, but if they happen to be selling them in front of the grocery store, I always stop and buy four or so boxes. I really need to gain weight but I can't eat cookies like I used to, upsets my stomach if I have more than two a day.

The thin mints and the peanut butter ones are good as well - I don't have daughter but friends of mine do, girl scouts, not going to preach politics to a bunch of little girls trying to fundraise for a trip.

The Samoas (thanks, @777 ) don't. They taste like cookies from Heaven with a little caramel and a lot of toasted coconut. Just sayin.

I stopped buying several years ago after seeing a report of a troop, in the NE somewhere, where the coordinator was being paid $85,000 (?) a year. The families of the girls still paid for the yearly camp themselves.

Basically, adults are using these children’s free labor to enrich themselves.

I don't think I have ever bought any before, though a very few times I have eaten some. But January is normally my most rigid month to endeavor to eat right, and for that reason alone I'm sure I won't buy any.
