I've got some carbon credits I'll sell to anybody that feels guilty for exhaling CO2.

    Gee!

Too bad there's nothing on earth that breathes in co2 and breathes out oxygen!

Or an ocean that by their own models, will only get wider and deeper and will absorb more CO2.

    Carbon Credits For Sale!

I've got five acres of land that is just right for growing a few trees. For about $500.00 a carbon credit I promise to plant one tree. I will tag each tree with your name and for $100.00 more I'll add a bird house with a add on it's little roof that reads "See Rock City"!

If there is no God and we are just a bunch of animals who cares if some of our species eat a few others of us anyway....?

IF however there is a God maybe there is a slight possibility that the ultimate fate of the planet is under His control? :)

You know, I've always wondered how the world survived for the millions of years when the planet was overrun with plant life and only a few mammals to convert oxygen into co2...

    Amen!!

When I was growing up in the 70's, scientists said we were going to have an ice age. Now it's global warming.

"And He changeth the times and the seasons..." (Dan. 2:21) God is in control!!

Every living thing converts O2 to CO2, including plants. Plants still "breathe" in that their cells still convert sugar and O2 into CO2 and water just like animals. However, plants also convert CO2 to O2 in the process of gathering sunlight for energy storage. Photosynthesis is equivalent to animal eating, not animal breathing. If plants didn't get sunlight, like in a situation where volcanic ash covered the skies globally, their combined "breathing" would cause a dramatic increase in CO2 in the atmosphere.

The earth warms, the earth cools, the earth warms, the earth cools...until this present earth comes to an end at the second coming of Christ Jesus.

God made the promise (at the end of the flood) that as long as the earth stands there will be seasons as we know it... you are exactly right..

Just like our economy goes up, then down, then up, then down...

As soon as people learn not to panic and eat each other when it gets in the upper 90s, we will be fine!

Just a meaningless post so we get to 20 before someone comes in with the "We're all gonna fry if you don't do something" stuff.... ;)
