Glory to God!

Many of you will recall that in early May of this year several areas of Nashville TN were flooded. One of those areas was where my church's preschool facilities [Lighthouse Christian School, to be exact] were located (about a mile from our main campus).

Today, Friday, September 10, people from ABC TV's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" program arrived at our main campus to erect a brand new preschool building over the next 7 days!!

People from the program had been in touch with us a couple days right after the flood had pretty much destroyed our preschool buildings to assess the damage and told us then that the preschool would be "on their list," but it wasn't until today that we found out for certain that the preschool had been chosen.

We're very humbled yet so thankful for this. God knew that we could not re-build our facilities ourselves. He led the Antioch First Baptist Church to graciously allow us to use their facilities for our preschool until a permanent building could be built. How thankful we are to our brethren in Christ for their generosity in that matter, yet we knew that could only be a temporary solution.

It was God Himself who moved on the hearts of the Extreme Makover people to choose us. Praise Him for His provision!! :godisgood:

I've been informed that there has been a schedule change for the airing of the Extreme Makover program. It has now been changed to November 14 on ABC-TV.

Everyone's invited to watch how God has tremendously blessed our church!!

Every time I think about it, I'm reminded of the events in Nehemiah!

 

I'm bumping this as a way to remind all my BB friends that on this Sunday evening (Nov. 14) ABC-TV's "Extreme Makeover:Home Edition" will be airing the program that features how God chose to bless my church's preschool (Lighthouse Christian Fellowship)!!

As I've previously posted, our preschool's facilities were destroyed in the May 1-2 flooding in Nashville.

Of course, this didn't take God by surprise. He just proved to us that He often operates in ways we can conceive of.

As our "Pastor Emeritus," Brother Al Henson, has said several times, "God took us through the valley so that He could put us on the mountain top."

See for yourself the many miracles that only God could bring about!
