...so you're going to be okay.

Yes, our Lord loves all of us but this modern day touchy feelie language just doesn't cut it when it comes to eternity.

For sure, no one is going to be "okay" just because of God's love. The only ones on the right path are those for whom the Holy Spirit has convicted and have surrendered their life accordingly.

It makes one wonder why so much band width is being wasted arguing over doctrinal issues while the power of the Holy Spirit is repeatedly ignored. Am I guilty of such? Yep. "There are none righteous..., no not one..."

Even after we have come to know Jesus we're still just filthy rags. Forgiven..., but that's about it.

Walk up to someone and say, “God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life.” Can you imagine telling that to an American?

“Sir, God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life.”

“What? God loves me? Well, that’s great because I love me, too. Oh, this is wonderful. And God’s got a wonderful plan?

I’ve got a wonderful plan for my life, too. And if I accept Him into my life, I’ll have my best life now. This is absolutely wonderful.”

But this is not biblical evangelism. Let me give you something in its place. God comes to Moses, and He says, “TheLORD passed before him and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant ingoodness and truth, Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no meansclear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third andto the fourth generation” (Exo 34:6-7). What was the reaction of Moses?—“Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped” (Exo 34:8).

Evangelism begins with the nature of God. Who is God? Can a man recognize anything about his sin if he has no standard by which to compare himself? If we tell him nothing but trivial things about God that tickle the carnal mind, will he ever be brought to genuine repentance and faith?

We do not begin with, “God loves you and has a wonderful plan.” We must begin with a discourse of the full counsel of who God is. And we must tell the person from the start it may cost him his life (Mat 16:24)!

Spot brother, especially the ignorance and hushed approach to the power and presence of the Holy Ghost for the almighty power of man made doctrines held so dear, that many choose to die on that hill, sometimes many times a day.
