God, not the Russians, influenced the election!

I have always believed that God has His hand upon this nation's fate, and if what I believe is true, than Trump's victory was a direct result of hard sought prayer. Not Russian influence.

If God does have His hand upon the direction of America, then those believers fighting the results and blaming Russia, are sinning against a God who puts our leaders in office.

What are your thoughts on this subject?

You may be on to something there. But let me ask who are "those believers fighting the results"? And what does "fighting the results" mean? Does it mean simply disagreeing with the results? I suspect that a good many in The Christian Right disagreed with the results when Obama and Bill Clinton were elected. Were they sinning then? Surely not.

And "blaming Russia" does not necessarily deny God's sovereignty. After all, throughout the ages God has used humans, even infidels and enemies of God, as his instruments in working his will. Did not pharoah and the kings of Assyria and Babylon carry out God's judgments? Did not God anoint Saul to bring about the kingdom of David? Did not God bring the Romans to hegemony in the time of Christ to advance his purpose? Did not God use Cyrus to restore the Jews to their homeland? And did not God use Hitler to bring about the modern state of Israel?
