Going in for a huge Steroid injection (epidural) next week

    Threw my back out a long time ago and just dealt with it. A year ago I messed it up good, got on some meds and it helped. Threw it out again Saturday, except this time the pain was excruciating.

    Had an MRI last Friday, and apparently I have a few bulging discs (not abnormal) that are putting presure on some nerves that also happen to be touching (not normal).

    So I'm getting localized injections to clear some of that up. Would appreciate all the prayers. Needles/surgury/doctors don't really bug me, but this pain is terrible. Hurts to do about anything.

    Back pain is no fun and you certainly have my sympathy. Praying the treatment will give you relief from all the pain.
