Republicans end Capitol Hill smoking ban

Under Nancy Pelosi - smoking was banned in 2007

I am for reasonable smoking bans, but normally - the D's are so-called "pro-choice" but
that is only for abortion - for just about anything else - The Dems claim you have no control
over your own body.

Thank goodness. Here I thought they were gonna waste time in things like inflation, balancing the budget, US oil production, preventing the grooming of children for sexual exploitation in our schools, protecting the unborn, investigating corruption etc….

Now the lobbyists can smoke around the Lincoln memorial unafraid of being harassed by some health nut do-gooder.

Way to go GOP, I am SOOOOOO encouraged you are going to do good work.

(I’m being sacastuc)

peace to you

IMHO they should adhere to every other federal organization in the US and ban smoking not only in common areas but in their offices.
I know Clinton signed an executive order banning smoking in Federal buildings and within 25 ft(?) of an entrance.

I suppose the congress is exerting separation of powers by not adhering to the executive order.

peace to you
