Algore: Climate Bill will bring about "World Governance"

http://www.climatedepot.com/a/1893/Gore-US-Climate-Bill-Will-Help-Bring-About-Global-Governance

Pardon me while I throw up.

Algore is a waste of Carbon credits. What a treasonous, malcontented pile of rubbish he has become. He is an embarrassment to our nation. I wish he'd leave, yesterday. And that's about as mild as I care to state things.

Now, to the article's point...some quotes that oughta scare you good:

But it is the awareness itself that will drive the change and one of the ways it will drive the change is through global governance and global agreements

In addition, calls for a global carbon tax have been urged at recent UN global warming conferences. In December 2007, the UN climate conference in Bali, urged the adoption of a global carbon tax that would represent “a global burden sharing system, fair, with solidarity, and legally binding to all nations.”

(conference invitee Othmar) Schwank noted that wealthy nations like the U.S. would bear the biggest burden based on the “polluters pay principle.” The U.S. and other wealthy nations need to “contribute significantly more to this global fund,” Schwank explained. He also added, “It is very essential to tax coal.”

"A climate change response must have at its heart a redistribution of wealth and resources,” said Emma Brindal, a climate justice campaigner coordinator for Friends of the Earth.

I'll say it here: If you support this, you are unAmerican, and you have absolutely no appreciation for the concept of liberty. And if you cannot see in this piece a desire by the UN to undermine US sovereignty and bleed its resources, then you either have senility issues, stupidity issues, or you have ill will towards the US.

May we be rescued from these evil, evil people.

CA senator Barbara Boxer, herself a paragon of intelligence and honesty ( ) and a lover of freedom :)rolleyes:  ), agrees, and warns us...

If the Senate doesn't pass a bill to cut global warming, Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer says, there will be dire results: droughts, floods, fires, loss of species, damage to agriculture, worsening air pollution and more... SOURCE

If by "loss of species" she means monumentally stupid and evil politicians who are anti-US and anti-liberty...I'm trying to see the downside there...

I mean...forget morality for a second (Goodness knows, Boxer has). This woman's state is so broke it can't pay attention. And what does she want to do??? Tax it into obvlivion. Further destroy freedom. Prohibitively punish acheivement. And lie to us all while she's doing it. Oh...and of course, further destroy her sworn enemies, the Republicans. (I really do think that if she could through bad law hurt Republicans, she would do so...no matte what it did to our country).

I think a lot of leftist, statist, socialist, fascist, etc. politicians really do like the US...they are just woefully deceived. I honestly think that Barbara Boxer could care less about the US. It's governmental system is simmply a means to her end.

Anyhoo...word has it this won't pass. I hope that it doesn't, and that Boxer at the very least gets embarrassed during the process.

Socialists are liars.

Don't put your hope in anything they say. In fact, it was said in a design to lull conservatives to sleep. If it passed the house, it will pass the Senate where Socialists hold 60% of the seats, and don't forget how Chicago thug politics are played.

It will pass unless God intervenes, and since Nov 4 it appears He has turned His face from America.

Algore: Climate Bill will bring about "World Governance"

==Just one more dreadful step towards the tribulation, the rise of the antichrist, and the new world order. But there is one really good thing about all of this: Jesus' return must be near!

"People get ready, Jesus is coming, soon we will be going home" -Crystal Lewis

"When these things bein to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near" -Luke 21:28

Personally, I'm ready to go tonight!!

Amen, come Lord Jesus!!

Yeah, now's a good time for all us good Christians in the USA to lay down and take it, while we wait, and wait, and wait...

"unless God intervenes"? Did ya ever stop to think God might be waiting to see if you will intervene?

God didn't give us the spirit of timidity so where did y'all get it from?

Okay, so now that I have that off my chest, check this out you might find it interesting.

Global Governance on climate agenda

MISSION INCREDIBLE

Clark tasked to pave the way for World Government

Media commentators missed the big story in Helen Clark’s appointment to the United Nations Development Programme. As bestselling “Air Con” author IAN WISHART explains, she takes the helm in the UN’s number three position just as the UN pitches to become an overarching world government, with real executive powers and effective control of the armies of all UN members. Clark didn’t join the UNDP to concentrate on third world charity work, but with a much bigger brief:

“What is at stake is to launch a reform process of the general UN system in view of fostering a new global agenda and building a New World Order.”

They could be the utterings of a raving conspiracy nut. Or perhaps the writings of one of those intellectual villains from any one of a dozen James Bond movies. But they aren’t. Instead, these are the words of one of the world’s major lobby groups – a collection of world leaders and left-wing politicians who meet each year for global conferences and policy initiatives. They call themselves Socialist International, and that paragraph kicked off a major 40 page briefing document that appears to set the stage for a new role for the United Nations: turning it into a full-fledged world government.

Socialist International is not a small-fry organisation. Affiliated to the controversial and secretive Bilderberg Group, its membership list includes heavy hitters – New Zealand’s Helen Clark co-chairs the Asia-Pacific Committee of Socialist International for example, and her predecessor in the UNDP role, Kemal Dervis, also has links to Socialist International. President Obama’s climate change ‘czar’ Carol Browner was listed as a senior official on the Socialist International website on January 2nd this year, although that reference has mysteriously disappeared following her appointment to the US administration. The organisation’s use of ‘climate change’ as an excuse to introduce world governance has been backed by no less a figure than British Prime Minister Gordon Brown:

“The first meeting of the SI Commission for a Sustainable World Society – the body established to address the global environmental agenda, climate change and the issues of governance required to deal with these common challenges - took place at 10 Downing Street on Monday 19 November, 2007 hosted by Prime Minister Gordon Brown,” begins one news release on the SI site.

But it’s the contents of a document entitled “Reforming the United Nations for a New Global Agenda” that appear to contain a blueprint for the future of the United Nations, and it appears no coincidence that Helen Clark, a Socialist International member since 1976, has just been appointed with an agenda to reform the United Nations.

[To read more of the UN’s agenda for global government, the proposed new global tax and its direct relationship to the climate change scare, read Ian Wishart’s new book Air Con: The Seriously Inconvenient Truth About Global Warming, available from Amazon UK, Amazon US, Borders, and good bookstores everywhere, or grab it online at http://www.ianwishart.com ]
The Socialist International paper, referencing UNDP material, can be downloaded from the UN website: http://www.un-ngls.org/orf/UN-reform-Socialist%20International-%20Position%20Paper_%20240105.doc

SOURCE...

And to think I've been called a "wacky conspiracy theorist" more times than I can count just for pointing out this very real conspiracy lo these many years.

But then again that was mostly when I was pointing my finger at all those globalist republicans who've been pushing this very same world government agenda for the very same global elite...hmmmm.

:praying: Oh Lord, open the eyes of these poor souls and let them see that both parties are made up of world government globalist conspirators, in Jesus name Amen. :praying:

Our genius of a Commerce Secretary Gary Locke said something amazing—U.S. consumers should pay for part of Chinese greenhouse-gas emissions!
From Reuters:
“It’s important that those who consume the products being made all around the world to the benefit of America — and it’s our own consumption activity that’s causing the emission of greenhouse gases, then quite frankly Americans need to pay for that,” Commerce Secretary Gary Locke told the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai.

Hey...why not? We already take care of people who won't take care of themselves. Why not take care of countries who do the same? Communist ones at that?

My 8 year-old could run the policy better than this anti-American imbecile.

Not for a minute. God knows exactly what I will and won't do.

Climate change is a global problem, not just an American problem.

Funny...seems like I read that the climate changed before we ever got here. Now that we're here, it's still changing.

You would think that now that us smart people are on the planet, all environmental conditions would stay exactly the same. Sheesh.

Climate change is a global problem, not just an American problem. Global problems require solutions that involve all nations.
What problem? God doesn't control the climate? The climate has changed since the beginning of creation.

Yep, the climate has changed many times, and it often was not habitable by homo sapiens. The problem is not that the planet won't survive...it will. But if we foul it up to where we cannot live here, it may survive without us. Additionally, I want my descendants to have a nice place to live as we have had, not leave them cursing us for ruining it. And for you guys who only see it in economic terms, rising ocean levels will have a HUGE economic cost.

You must not have a high outlook on God's sovereignty...

To be fair this is an inappropriate application of the Sovereignty of God. Such an application can be used to justify anything. If it were possible for man to effect the climate in such a drastic way, which is the position of MP, then the sovereignty of God would not be effected. We can take life without effecting the sovereignty of God. Destroying the climate would be no different.

True, but MP places too many eggs in man's basket and not enough in God's. That was the emphasis of my statement.
