I had made the statement that God has the omnipotent authority to do anything He chooses with His own creation.

That brought about absurdly sinful charges against me.

What does the Bible say about the subject?

Job 23:13 :But he stands alone, and who can oppose him? He does whatever he pleases.

    Psalms

115:3 : Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him.

135:6 : The Lord does whatever pleases him, in the heavens and on the eath, in the seas and all their depths.

Daniel 4:35 : All the peoples of the earth are regarded as nothing, He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth. no one can hold back his hand or say to him: "What have you done?"

Daniel 4:37 : everyting he does is right and all his ways are just.

Deut. 32:4 : He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.

I have to get to work. I don't have time to post more right now. So I will just list some more references.

    Psalm 18:30
    Ps. 75:2
    Ps. 77:13
    Rev.

    15:3;16:7 and 19:2.

Of course God does whatever He wants. Not to be impertinent, but that goes along with being God. We know that everything God does He does for a reason:

God does as He pleases, yes. People then want to attribute sin to Him as well. But everything He does is good. It is that our finite minds can not truly grasp all that He is.

What I mean is why did He set it up that we procreate to have children, knowing that many would pervert it?

Why did He make Adam and Eve, knowing that many would die lost?

Why did He create Satan knowing that he and his minions would fall from heaven?

I think these are deep questions that even the deepest thinking people can never give an adequate answer to.

If God makes a covenant, can He break it?

If He can break it, would He be a just God?

If God will not break a covenant, then God cannot do whatever He wants, He does not go against His own word.

After God literally put King Nebuchadnezzar "out to pasture," even that once arrogant and pride-filled king had this to say about Daniel's Jehovah:

"His [God's] rule is everlasting, and His Kingdom is eternal. All the people of the earth are nothing compared to Him. He has the power to as He pleases among the angels of heaven and with those who live on earth. No one can stop Him or challenge Him, saying, 'What do You mean by doing these things?' Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and glorify and honor the King of Heaven. All His are just and true, He is able to humble those who are proud." (Daniel 4:34-37)

I once heard this put in a positive way. Instead of saying that God cannot act in way contrary to His word, a preacher said, "God will always act in accordance with His nature and His word." I liked the way that was said because it did not cast God as not being able to do something. It works out the same, but it displays God as always in control.

Passages regarding the justice of God aside from Dan. 4:37 and Deut. 32:4 which I had listed in my OP.

Ps. 18:30 : "As for God, his way is perfect."

Ps. 75:2 : "I chose the appointed time; it is I who judge uprightly."

Ps. 77:13 : "Your ways, O God, are holy.

    Revelation

15:3 : "Just and true are your ways, King of the ages."

16:7 : "Yes, Lord Almighty, true and just are your judgments."

19:2 : "for true and just are his judgments."

I agree, it is cheap and easy to put a negative spin on things. I doubt anyone would stand in front of God and do so.

According to my OP and post 8 the Word of God opposes the the elementary principles and worldly standards that DHK advocates. People like DHK have invented a conception, or rather a concoction, that is at variance with all the verses that I cited.

The human, or worldly standard, is certainly not biblical. God can indeed do anything He pleases. Everything He does is right and holy. God is not like sinful humanity. God does not have to give an account of Himself to anyone. God is the controlling authority. To charge God with being an 'out-of-control monster' that DHK and others like PT have said is to despise the Word of God --at the very least.

These people who want to paint God in their image are doing harm to the Kingdom of God. To claim to be a minister of the Gospel and yet deny the Word of God with respect to such basic doctrines is abhorrent.

What's this? A new version of "If God Can do anything, then can he make a rock so big he can't lift it?"

    Isaiah

    14:24 :
Surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will stand.

    14:27 :
For the Lord Almighty has purposed, and who can thwart him? His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?

Those who rant about God as a "monster out of control who can do as he pleases" should be rebuked by the verses I have shared.

Here's more about those who dare to question God's ways and character:

Woe to those who quarrel with their Maker, those who are nothing but potsherds among the potsherds on the ground.
Does the clay say to the potter, "What are you making?"
Does your work say "The potter has no hands"?
Woe to the one who says to a father,
    "What have you begotten?"
    or to a mother,
"What have you brought to birth?"

    Isaiah 45:9-10
