Governor Matt Bevin On Gun Control-Completely debunks their argument

I live about twenty minutes North of where the school shooting the woman referred to took place. For more than a year, all we heard 24/7 was "Guns are bad". "Gun owners don't care if children die." "Guns are too easy to get." "Guns, guns, guns!"

Not once did anybody mention what led this guy to kill seventeen of his classmates. We knew he was in foster care. We knew he was "troubled", but nothing about what led to those troubles or what was going on in his life or how he could have been helped.

One of the things I really admired about President Reagan is that he would always explain, not only a policy or idea, but the moral philosophy behind it. He had no problem calling something morally desirable or morally wrong.

Bevin is right. Nobody does that now. Now, we talk about solutions, albeit, often without understanding the problem we're trying to solve, but never about what caused the problem or how to keep the problem from happening again. Everything is just a band aid.

It locked me out because I don't have a subscription. I did read some of it before then. Is that it?
No, that's just an example. There is the whole pension debacle, calling Kentucky students weak for school being cancelled due to weather and a whole number of other things.
