We've all seen'em...the once-great athlete whose skills have faded, but who still plays...and his team keeps him, either outta respect, or even when faded, his skills are still above the ordinmary.

Wanna name some? I'll start the show!

First in my mind is MICHAEL JORDAN...even though his skills had diminished, he was still outstanding.

    WARREN SPAHN

    KAREEM ABDUL-JABBAR

    JOE LOUIS

    That's for starters...Now, YOUR turn!

And what about those who think they have marketable sportscaster (or commercial making) skills like Terry Bradshaw?

I would think that Darrel Waltrip would be an obvious one.

His last five years or so were embarrassing.

Reggie White's tour with the Panthers was also pretty bad. He should never have come back.
