    Ugh... I saw an article on CNN that just makes me want to vomit. Nieve student peaceniks with there little goatee beards. Call me crazy, but I've always been suspicious of men with goatees. Not surprising, my suspicions usually prove to be correct. See what I mean?!?

    No, I don't see what you mean. I know several Christian young men who have goatees. They would not fit your generalization.

    By the way, do you have a Biblical basis for your opinion?

    Hmm, you've missed me as well.
    Seems you are basing your opinions of someone by the way they wear their facial hair.
    I'm also interested that the idea of students with beards on CNN makes you want to vomit, but must shrug off the death of milions of iraqi children with terms like "unavoidable collateral damage".
    Perhaps if more people rallied for peace, it would be people like you making the rest of the collective want to vomit.

    How sad that we resort to name calling and stereotypes, in this case of men who have goatees.

    Even sadder is when we imply that those who do not share our opinion in regard to Iraq are somehow unbiblical in their view.

    Sounds like an attempt to pervert the Bible, IMO.

    I find it particularly amusing that Born Again's favourite verse according to his profile is :
    2 Corinthians 4:18
    While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

    And then he makes judgements on people based on the facial hair that he sees on them.

    Nothing looks amiss to me. They look like a lot of men I went to college with. Great guys.

    Three men with goatees, and suddenly we have a suspicious group on our hands? Gee, tell us how you really feel. :rolleyes:

    Out here in San Francisco, we used to feel the same way about men that wore a full Cleveland (white belt and white shoes) before Memorial Day. Since 1977, we feel that way about men who wear a full Cleveland at any time of the year. Unless of course, they're high spending conventioneers. Then, we'll overlook their tackiness as long as they're contributing to the local economy.

    Or how about the shaved head with a Goatee look? Forgive me, but thats just too much. Whats next? boxer shorts? (shudders to imagine)

    Hey!!!!!!!!!! I WEAR BOXERS!!! and until my wife ardently exhorted me to shave it off wore a goatee too.

    I'm terribly sorry to hear that :( Shaving the Goatee was a step in right direction. I'd stay far away from whatever made you grow one in the first place.

    As for the boxers. One question.. WHY?!?!?
    Your wife probably doesn't like those either.

    It's typical for me to have a 5 day old goatee, afterwhich I often shave it off for a week or two, and then grow one back. On top of that, I wear boxer-briefs. Does that mean can't make up my mind?????????

    I think I'm seeing a trend here [​IMG] You enjoy taking part halfway in things. Half the time you have a goatee, you wear half and half underwear, and don't hate me for this, but you're half Catholic too! :eek:
