    Guardsmen overrun at the Border

    A U.S. Border Patrol entry Identification Team site was overrun Wednesday night along Arizona's border with Mexico.

    According to the Border Patrol, an unknown number of gunmen attacked the site in the state's West Desert Region around 11 p.m. The site is manned by National Guardsmen. Those guardsmen were forced to retreat.

    It is common for law inforcement to encounter violence in known drug trafficking areas...be it at the border or even along I-44 here in the midwest.

    I reckon I am glad that I am not along I-44 and live with watching the law inforcement get over run.

    That would be a sad sight . . .

    This sounds like more than the ordinary drug trafficking gun toter.

    I wonder if our NG troops were even armed.:confused:
