Guidelines for the Use of the Youth Forum.

Generally, the use of the "Youth Forum" is guided by the following:

1. Youth forum is a place where youth 18 and under can come and socialize in the midst of a board of other (sometimes more adult) threads.

2. This is also a forum where youth related issues can be addressed. This can mean
A. Issues brought up by youth.
B. Issues about youth

3. This is not a debate forum. It is a discussion forum. When "discussions" take a heated direction or a more debated direction, the participants may be redirected and/or the thread shut down, at the discretion of administrators or moderators. As always, others can report issues by "blowing the whistle".

4. While the moderator of this forum is not generally concerned about how long a thread goes, sometimes due to length (10 pages or more), or if a thread becomes heated or if posters appear to be mean spirited, the thread will be closed down. At that point, the poster can start a new thread with a less heated light or in a different forum.
