20 years is a long time for just about anything. As I have been here for 20 years and feel that my time here has reached an end, I wanted to say so.

It's been on my mind a while and I do not leave out of haste, ill-will, or rash thinking.

We will meet some day in eternity with Christ. If you feel a tap on your shoulder and hear a lady-like and southern "hello, there" - it will be me. LOL!!! :p

I pray God's blessings and mercies on you all. See you around.

Ah, surely you won't be able to resist checking in on us every now and then. Nothing wrong with that. :)

I have been blessed by your insightful comments on many occasions. May God bless your ministries as you grow ever closer to our Lord.

As kyredneck said, perhaps it’s not “goodbye” but “see ya later gator”.

peace to you

Will miss your insightful & common sense take on some pretty fiery topics & will be looking forward to that tap on the shoulder & heavenly southern drawl!!!!
Actually, hoping that time is not too far in the future when we defy gravity & rise to meet Him!!!!

Sorry to see you go... You have been a bright light on here and a balance that is needed in this sea of testosterone and a lot of insight you given I have presented to my wife, so never think your counsel has been unheeded... Sometimes us men, need the female perspective... May God bless where you go and what you do, that you glorify him and edify others... In my twenty years here, its been a pleasure to read your posts... Scarlett O... You will be missed... Brother Glen:)

Scarlett -
Is there any way we can put your "Transfer" on hold?

You mean so much to us here

I am doubly grieved this week.

Scarlett, for it would be better for us old cantankerous obstinate curmudgeon folks to have you to keep us sweet.

Friend, do not be far, may God keep you in peace.

  • No one likes permanent goodbyes, which is probably why this song, with its promise to meet again, remains an enduring farewell song. In 2010, the Western Writers of America named it one of the top 100 Western songs of all time.

When Roy and Dale sang this at at Billy Graham crusade
they added a new verse:

Happy trails to you, it's great to say "hello."
And to share with you the trail we've come to know.
It started on the day that we met Jesus,
He came into our hearts and then he freed us.
For a life that's true, a happy trail to you.
