Harper says, "it's terror!" Obama refuses to say the same!

Once again, our national leader refuses to call the two attacks in Canada "terror!" If the Canadian PM can say it is terror and it was conducted by Islam radicals, why does Obama not see it for what it is, and call a spade, a spade?

Maybe the folks that accuse Obama of being a Muslim and sympathetic to their cause are not that far from the truth?

I'm at a loss when it comes to the stubbornness of Obama to follow suit, especially since it was not in our nation!

Do any of you have a view regarding the presidents refusal to call terrorism, terrorist acts?

Do you have a link where Obama is quoted as saying, "I wouldn't call this terror", or something similar? Has he commented on it at all?

I suppose the President of the United States does not feel the need to chime in with his view of a tragedy in another country within 24 hours.

Obama and his feds has determined that the Ft. Hood shooting was only "work place violence". Enough said. However, nice obfuscation on the issue.

Who mentioned Ft. Hood? Talk about obfuscation.

Here is the issue, as laid out by the OP:

Notice the qualifying phrase, "Once again, our national leader..." and then clearly mentions the two attacks in Canada.

So, again I ask, Do you have a link where Obama is quoted as saying, "I wouldn't call this terror", or something similar?

Problem Reaction Solution

Question: So what's the "solution"?

Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper has vowed to strengthen the nation's terror laws one day after a gunman rampaged through parliament.

The leader said plans would be expedited to give more powers to surveillance and security agencies.

Answer: More money, more power and more control. (aka, bigger more intrusive government)

Naturally.

One of Obama's biggest fears is now, and always has been, that Americans would associate the act of a lone Islamic terrorist or the acts of any Islamic terrorist group, with Islam as a whole.

It is an unneeded and ineffective effort, but he persists.

Witnesses say he gets visibly angry when any of his staff make any association at all between Islam and terror.

President Obama suggested Wednesday that a series of shootings in Canada may have been acts of terrorism and said he has directed U.S. authorities to work closely with the Canadian government, in part to protect the long border between the two countries.

“Obviously the situation there is tragic,” Mr. Obama told reporters in the Oval Office. “When it comes to dealing with terrorist activity, Canada and the United States have to be entirely in sync. Obviously we’re all shaken by it.”

Mr. Obama said his advisers “don’t yet have all the information about what motivated the shooting. … whether this was part of a broader network or plan.”

But he added of the attacks in Ottawa, “It emphasizes the degree to which we have to remain vigilant when it comes to dealing with these kinds of acts of senseless violence or terrorism.”
