A better question would be are we praying without ceasing for his return. Turn to God not man.

You know when it comes to relying on who to get things done we need to be a bit more proactive.

For example, If I need a job I can stay home and pray for a job, or I can get up off of the couch and go out and look for a job along with prayer.

Simply sitting around and praying is not how God works.

When God works in this world He does so through His people. It does not just fall out of the sky.

Trying to act super spiritual in order to divert attention from the failed actions of the President is not helpful.

Prayer might not be productive in your life yet.

    Well Said.....

PnS is as close, and I do not mean to offend him, to a WofF believer as I've seen on this board!

Prayer is the begininng to anything we need from God, but it will not take the palce of filling out the application, droping off a resume, and going to the interview. It will not take the place of researching the potential employer, and preparing yourself for the interview.

I believe in the power of prayer as much as the next guy, but prayer without action is, or as you say, being proactive, is useless!

I have gotten all of my jobs through prayer, and I prayed they would review my app, and they did. I prayed they would call me for an interview. And they did. I prayed for Him to quicken my mind and help me to impress the panel at the interview, and He did! And prayed that if God wanted me at this employer, that He'd open the final door. and he did!

PnS, this is getting a job, or anything else you may have a need for, by being engaged and doing the footwork along with the knee work! :saint:

We pray for our leaders, not criticize to motivate. People who have not had results from prayer put it last on the list, but will claim it's importance.

Yea, they like to think things just fall out of the sky and all they have to do is sit on the couch. Prayer works but God answers prayer through His people. When God works in peoples lives it is through His people not apart from them. Charimatics are like Democrats, they hold on to ideologies with never any results but their intentions are good.

and now back to the OP

The NCO has not been returned, therefore the POTUS has not yet accomplished the mission.

final answer - NO he has NOT done enough to bring Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi home from the Mexican prison?

It should be a challenge. If prayer is not effective, it is a true statement, and sometimes the truth offends. If prayer is effective, the a person cannot be insulted.

Yes, we believe in prayer - but this OP is NOT about prayer.

Feel free to start a new thread about it, if you desire.

Yep, those with an attitude of "self-super-spirituality" will always show through.
Seems we now have 2 on this board!!!!:tonofbricks:

As to the ZERO'S concern for anyone who does not further his demolition of the U.S., well there ain't none! (I think his 5 for 1 prisoner swap verifies this.)

Two, or in reality one in the same????

If there are two, one is a kinder and less aggressive, but in the end, their caustic attempts to provoke the rest of us, and serve as judges here on earth is eerily similar.

Jst read their responses side-by-side, and you will see how similar they are. MHO of course!

Agreed....and to rely on this BO creep to stand for any military interests is rediculous......commander in chief indeed. He has left this man twisting in the wind.

    The POTUS is MIA ....

Great point, and I think military members, active and retired will remember this in November! I would not want to be a DNC candidate come November 2014!

Nada. Zilch. Big fat goose egg. Zero. Nuttin'.

All things he is very good at doing, by the way. That's pretty much a community organizer's job description.

How hard can it be to just sneak him past Mexico's guards and across the border?
