Have the Cubs inherited the "curse"?

We finally got to see the Bosox win the whole enchilada. Has the snake left their dugout & moved into that of the Cubs?

Where have I heard that before? Shouldn't it be CHOKE? I think they have the All-Star Break circled on their calendars.

I predict the Cubs will win the division if Sosa is with the Mets.

The only curse the Cubs inherited was not having deep enough pockets! Last year or two they've loosened the pursestrings a little. On second thought, this free agency think, no loyalty (does this mean no dynasties?). Can have a good farm system, only to have large-markets teams gobble up your talent. I believe that I would take a little less money just to play in Chicago at Wrigley.

Not to change the subject, but loyalty is a two-way street. For eighty years, most owners showed little loyalty to their players. Connie Mack twice sold a busload of future Hall-Of-Famers for $$$. Now, free agency is here to stay; the curse of the reserve clause is history. Pendulum's swung the other way.

I'd like to see a Bosox-Cubzz series this year!
