Magnetic Poles said:If by prophet we mean someone who sees the future, I think it is just fortunetelling, same as the crystal ball, palm & tarot card readers. If we mean someone who proclaims God's word, then yes, they do exist. But I have to agree with Hillclimber on this one; best to avoid self-proclaimed prophets.
