Having trouble with forum threads

    Hope you don't think I am a total klutz, but I just can't make heads or tails out of most threads in the BB forums. When I click on a thread I either get to the first post or to the last post. But they are never the same, so as a result I start to read at either end and often they don't connect.

    Does anyone know how I may remedy this situation? I'd like to get to the last post of a specific thread. Thanks for your advice. :praying:

    When you look at a particular thread, say the first one in this section...Best Freeware...beside it in parenthesis are number of pages thus displayed...(1 2 3.....Last) A number takes you to that page of threads, of course Last takes you to the most recent page. If there are no parenthesis then there is only one page.

    Are you using pointers to the Topics you got in e-mail notifications?
    I've noticed they are pretty random: sometimes pointint to the
    first post you havent read, sometimes pointing to the last
    post (even after other posts are posted).

    Thanks preacher, that makes sense. Although I just like to click on the title of a particular thread, and when it opens.... that's when I get confused because it either opens the first or the last page..... :confused:

    Ed, I do not have email notification, but I do get the random effect you describe. I guess I have to click on the page number or on the last page. Thought that there is something I can set and forget it. :tear:
