Heb 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.Heb 2:16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

I have been wrestling with God having just one covenant people throughout human history, beginning with Adam and never ending. I won't hijack this thread and turn into a covenant theology vs. dispensationalism discussion. I will start a separate thread if that is warranted. But in my recent studies I cannot find any evidence to support anything but one covenant people. Old Testament saints and New Testaments saints were/are all saved by grace through faith. One group looking forward to coming Redeemer, the other group knowing the Redeemer who did come, Jesus Christ. I was just seeking some agreement or dissent.Originally posted by whatever:
Gal 3:7-9 - "Know then that it is those of faith who are the sons of Abraham. And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, 'In you shall all the nations be blessed.' So then, those who are of faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith."
See Ephesians 2:11-22 as well.
