Don’t know so much about like-minded but it’s a nice place to get to know people.

I may be close to being the "bible college" mindset you sought, as I was dean of a non-denominational Christian college 4 years, and later a professor at Pillsbury Baptist Bible College. Proves these schools have very low standards! :) Welcome . . . and read more here to get a great variety of information on almost every subject!

I think you and John of Japan should start a Bible college!!!

John lives 35 minutes from me and large church there has the Baptist School of Ministry (college program)
I live 5 minutes from Maranatha Baptist University which is a flourishing Baptist institution from which a number of BB attended/graduated include Squire with its School of Ministries the largest of all its schools

My day is past, sprinkled within 52 years of ministry of 1984-88 Dean of the International Institute of Christian Education and 1996-2000 Professor of Pastoral and Education at Pillsbury Baptist Bible College. That said, if my health improves, I could envision a semi-formal BB education wing, eh?

Haha we will find out :)

Welcome. I have a younger brother who lives in Boise! My family just became aware of his existence a year or so ago, and we finally met him last July. We've presented the Gospel to him, and I hope that he'll come to know the Lord soon. If you're looking for a good Bible college, I would highly recommend Maranatha Baptist University in Watertown, Wisconsin. Dr. Bob from these forums graduated from there, and I attended back in the 1980s.
Looking forward to interacting with you here on the forums. Again, welcome! :)
