I joined this forum a couple days ago and figured I'd better introduce myself.
I have grown up all my life in a tiny Methodist church in the backwoods of Mississippi. When the pastor had to step down we (I was fairly young so we = my parents and I) started looking for a new church home where we could grow. We finally settled down where we believed the word of God was being preached truthfully and with power! This was a Church of God church. I remained there for we real years and never felt like that's where I should be. I eventually got remarried (sorry didn't mention that part) and we (this time my wife, kids, and I) didn't feel like that was where we should be. So we searches for a Baptist church and found a Great one. We now agree 100% with our pastor's teachings and never feel uncomfortable or out of place.
We are a big fan of Dr. Charles Stanley's teachings too.
I joined this forum because I found myself with several questions and spending a lot of time on ATV forums. Not that those are bad, but they were consuming a lot of my time on them when I believe this one could be a better use of my time online.
Just wanted to say hello to everyone and hope I have a very good time growing as a Christian and as a father and husband with the help of this forum. Thanks in advance!!
