I have been lurking for a while but have finally joined. I am Southern Baptist and an mk. I hve been a Marine for 6 years ( 4 active) and am an Iraq veteran. I am currently in school (classics) and plan on entering the ministry as well as teaching. FYI I am notoriously bad at communicating online and often come off as abrupt, dismissive or worse so please forgive me in advance. I don't mean it so when in doubt take what I write the least offensive way possible.

Welcome to the Baptist Board. I almost settled down in VA when I got out of the Air Force there, but I couldn't find any work and returned to Michigan. Now I live full time in Florida.

Welcome aboard from another Virginian down here next to Bristol. Some folks just don't know where the 'promise land' is; we'll just have to keep praying for them !!!!!!!! :praying:

Is it true that when somebody moves from TN to VA that the net IQ of both states goes up???? :laugh: Maybe it's the other way around.
