I'm asking anyone to help me record. I just don't know how. I'm hoping there is someway to do this from my home, since this is the place I preform best. I know there are recordings out there, from various events, but I don't dare ask for copies...I'm just too shy.

    Love,

    Sopranette

For recording yourself at home, try Audacity. You'll need a good microphoneon your compeeter. (That's what my son used to call it.)

If you know the date of a service where you sang, just ask for a copy. Don't mention the fact you sang that service and they'll think you want to hear te Sermon again.:wavey:

    Thanks, Gayla!

I've been trying it out today with a few different songs. I've never recorded myself and played it back. Yikes! I have a lot of work to do!

Yeah, you sound different on "tape" than live, don't ya?

I remember hearing a long time ago that how yu sound to yourself while singing is different to what the listeners are hearing. When you hear yourself recorded, that is how you sound to other folks.
