President Donald Trump’s Presidential Approval Index may be in the negative numbers, but he still has a double-digit lead on the rating former President Barack Obama had earned on the same day in his presidency.

According to Rasmussen’s daily tracking data, on Friday President Trump’s numbers were as follows:

  • 36 percent Strongly Approve of the president
  • 43 percent Strongly Disapprove of the president
Trump’s Presidential Approval Index rating, found by subtracting the disapproval rating from the approval rating, is -7.

President Barack Obama, on this day in his second year in office, had much lower approval numbers.

  • 26 percent Strongly Approve of the president
  • 45 percent Strongly Disapprove of the president
His Presidential Approval Index was -19.

Former President Obama also had lower overall approval numbers — 44 percent compared to President Trump’s 50 percent; as well as higher disapproval numbers — 55 percent compared to Trump’s 49 percent.

Trump is not the problem. The RINOS are the problem. They intentionally fail to deliver on campaign promises. Talk a good talk and do nothing. If a blue wave hits, it rests on the shoulders of MCCain, and his band of RINOS.

Conservatives seem to love Rinos. They sure elect a lot of them.

ya, I suppose. I liked him as a person and an orator. Policies - No way!
As a Jeremiah Wright following person? Most of his rotations were riddled with anti white, anti God, anti Christian value, rhetoric.

There's an element of correlation between any president's approval rating and elections, but you have to keep in mind that both Trump and Obama are polarizing figures - they can have 70%+ in one state and less than 30% in another.

Conservatives seem to love Rinos. They sure elect a lot of them.

Actually, conservatives are finally de-RINOing Congress - bye bye Flake, Corker, Paul Ryan, and poor John McCain, of course. There's still some around, not an extinct breed yet.

How did they de-RINO McCain? They give him brain cancer somehow?

Still obsessed with Obama. There is apparently no treatment for Obama Derangement Syndrome.
The main difference is those of us against President Obama agendas and policies have a lot of material tosupport our case, the never Trumpers, none at all!

Oh that is what you waited for, your opportunity to rip up a guy who can’t defend himself! :Mad

I don’t walk away from a fight but I also do not attack dead people... that says tons about your character and you and Aaron should be ashamed of yourselves.

God did that. :Thumbsup He plugged 'im; we planted 'im.

Man trying to hide your partisan mind behind the Bible is gross.

SNIP Politics over the gospel every single time every single time.

Another keyboard warrior who wouldn’t know true sacrifice if it bit him in the face.

Disgusting.
