Here’s what FBI agents are reportedly saying about James Comey’s book — and it’s not good

Excerpts from former FBI Director James Comey’s long-awaited book, “A Higher Loyalty,” which releases next week, flowed like raging river rapids this week.

The excerpts brought light to many of the most anticipated parts of Comey’s book, which details intimate conversations with the Trump administration, and President Donald Trump himself, in the weeks preceding his termination last May. Indeed, Comey’s book is heavy with detail and exposes many of the country’s most controversial issues over the last year and a half.

But a CNN correspondent, who said she spoke with several “high-ranking” FBI sources, said FBI agents are not thrilled with Comey’s upcoming blockbuster.

What are the details?
Jamie Gangel said on CNN host Wolf Blitzer’s show that her FBI sources are “not happy” with Comey’s book, which they reportedly say crosses the line of professionalism Comey once held the bureau to.
She explained they believe Comey’s book will bring more criticism to an organization already “under attack” from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

“I’ve talked to quite a few former FBI high ranking sources, they are not happy about this because they feel it crosses the line of professionalism,” Gangel said. “They are worried about their reputation. They have been under attack, the organization has been under attack.”

She added her sources are “afraid” Comey’s book will further damage the bureau’s reputation in the long term.

Professionalism? The FBI has none.

Wow. Blanket defamation.

Sorry, I've known too many FBI folks to know your assessment if patently false.

We now have a President and his enablers attacking the intelligence agencies (which includes the military), the courts, the law enforcement agencies, the press, and large numbers of people in both houses of Congress. That's not including the venom against the rank and file citizens who disagree with the President and the policies his administration has enacted.

If you don't like this nation that much, perhaps you need to consider another.

What we have is a deep state in the FBI, the Pentagon and elsewhere that leak information illegally, undermine him at every turn. So let's not act like they are just sitting there all innocent and have nothing to do with all of this. Its just not honest.

I said "the FBI." That means the Bureau as an entity. I agree fully with you about individual field agents.

So, no names of FBI agents. More Fake News. Got it.

Furthermore, the alleged sources said they "are not happy".

Wow. Hard hitting journalism!

Reynolds is not a victim.

If you are talking about the President, he is not a victim either. He has created his legal troubles.
No, he is the victim of the establishment clawing tooth and nail to keep the swamp from being drained. There is plenty of evidence to indict Hillary. Why is she not in prison?

That establishment is pretty powerful, making Trump lie thousands of times in his public statements, forcing his team to secretly meet with Russians and keep changing their stories, telling the American people while he was a candidate that he had no dealings with Russia while he was actively working a business deal for a Trump Tower in Moscow. And I could go on and on...

The people who have investigated her don't seem to think so. Even President Trump jumped off the "lock her up" train immediately after winning the election.

I don't mind if they do another investigation of Ms. Clinton, but that does not mean they should overlook what President Trump has done or what he is currently doing.

Uh huh. It's not worth the trouble to put it in front of you since you will reject it.

If Mueller truly is about to wrap things up, I'm sure you will see all that and more.

Mueller is going to wrap it up with a big nothing burger. I would like to see the thousands of lies. Surely you can come up with the first thousand.
