Creating a poll for the OP of Rufus.

Choose one, or in a post write in your guy (yuk gal). Base your choice on what you see here, not on the "unknown" positions for a particular candidate. It is what you think based upon what you see here. You can also indicate "undecided" in your post. Unfortunately, the poll is limited to 10 persons by the BB.

HERE THEY ARE:

:wavey:<----As of right now, leaning toward Thompson, still undecided, except that it won't be a Democrat.

I have thrown my hat in the Ron Paul ring. I even purchased a bumper sticker to go on my truck (once I get it back from the shop :BangHead: ). Like Alan Keyes, Ron Paul is a true conservative. He has not given into the "powers that be" and therefore he does not go along with all the of big government junk many modern professing conservatives do. Since Paul will not win the primary, and since the RNC is HIGHLY unlikely to run anyone I can/will vote for, and since I doubt there will be a good third party person to vote for, I plan on voting for Ron Paul via write in.

I have ALMOST decided to just write in my own name simply to be able to say that I DID vote.

Hard decision; the lesser of the evils - yuk!!!

To answer the OP, I don't know.

I've thought about that myself -- not my name, but my husbands ;)

And I'm tired of voting for the lesser evil . . .

Why bother with voting for president? Just leave it blank.

In many states, you have to file papers in order to be a write-in candidate.

keeling towards Thompson. May go for Brownback or Huckabee, though, once Thompson declares his position in the "unclear" portions on the link, and it goes opposite of where I stand, but then, again that depends on the argument given.

I was just warming up for a "they're all as bad as each other" rant, but then saw SALTY  heh don't vote for him mate, he'ld be even worse ;) But to steal from Groucho Marx "I refuse to be Prez/PM of any country that would have someone like me as Prez/PM" ;)

I am told I'll need to vote for a democrat due to the fact that I cannot legally vote in the USA.

I'll probably vote for Clinton, see how she does with a third term in office...

Since you do not live in the US, that makes you eligible to vote 4 or 5 times for president (as long as you vote demo)
