T Alan (or starviola - which one should I call you?)
You know that the moderators can only press a button and check the computer IP address of member and see you have multiple accounts. It's against the rules to have multiple accounts.
There are people here who do it and think we don't know and I don't know why the moderators don't always correct that since it is a rule .... but I am just giving you a head's up. As far as I know T Alan may be a name for some who has been previously here ... c'est la vie.
You thread on the Youth forum was NOT in the proper place. Neither you nor the members participating in the thread were discussion young people or their issues. It was a debate about segregation of ages in the church as far as teaching is concerned.
It indeed was not a fellowship thread.
As Saggywoman said, everything is not a fight.
I am not a moderator here, but I am at another forum. I moderate the Welcome/introduction forum.
You said that this is your first internet forum to be a member of.
Well, let me explain. The majority of people do NOT post on welcome/introduction forums. Whether that hurts people's feeling or not is not relevant TO their not posting.
Most people are just taking a quite drive-by to see who this person is and then they talk to them on other threads.
That's just how these things work on all forums. You might get one or two hellos but that's it.
It isn't personal. It isn't cause to get chip on your shoulder.
Saggywoman is one of the truest and kindest persons on this board.
She isn't going to fight with you over this.
You make some pretty strong accusations here dear lady. You and she have turned this welcome page into a "battle ground" just read back over my posts and Youin's.
I assure you I have no chips in the bag or on my shoulder.
I assure you I am not Star that responded earlier and I assure you,
In the words of Rhett Butler from "Gone with the Wind"
Frankly my dear, I don't give two dead flies.
