Where and how are C-802 missles getting to the Hezbollah? And if two of these took out 2 ships, who is coming up with countermeasures?

Wait - the IDF claim to sell some of the best electronic countermeasures . . . maybe they forgot to buy their own?

Or maybe they should buy Made in America.

So tell me why didn't the Israelis just tell everyone the truth?

They should have planned this better - sending alot of lead down range will make up for some sloppy planning, but this much sloppy planning is costing them alot of wasted troops. And their intentionally poor planning is costing alot of civilians their lives.

Although, I must admit - if they had planned it - they might have killed twice as many civilians.

Iran is the source of the missles. And Hezbollah as well as Hamas should be destroyed.

What in the world are you talking about?

Israel does have some of the best countermeasures in the world. Try stopping a 2 1/2 to 5 inch rocket traveling three times the speed of sound with about 25 coming at you just barely over the water. Especially when most of the rocket is made of plastic or corregated paper; except for the warhead and fin springs and hinges.

When you are at war, you have to expect taking on a few hits. My goodness. Our video wars with Iraq (and its antiquated equipment) have fooled people into believing that war is a one-sided thing and if you take a hit you have lost. Amazing.

Do you not remember us loosing a stealth fighter to a low-tech missile when engaging Bosnia?

Besides, what is Israel lying about?

Hezbollah missiles are coming from Iran via Syria. It is well documented. Hezbollah receives its orders from Iran.

    They do.

I am on God's side, and when they agree: I am on the side of the USA, as well . . . and you are on the side of?

Israel began deciding about mobilizing infantry reserves for an invasion and possible occupation - this weekend. That is POLITICS. This war was started not because the IDF let two soldiers get captured - this war was started because the IDF wanted to eliminate the rockets.
Israel waited until the world was distracted. They waited until a justifying event (kidnapping of two soldiers). Their decision has been accompanied by a display of willingness to kill civilians. I think you will find collateral damage to be 10 times (or more) than a US operation would be.

And, none of these actions show planning. These actions show political haste and desperation. This is the kind of desperation that most would expect from N Korea, not from leaders following the Law of God.

Then again, the stories that plague this man have never displayed him as rational. Rather, he has been hasty in every major decision that he has made. His haste has led others to paint him as a hero or a horror depending upon how bad his decisions have gone. His hasty actions with terrible results have had him demoted, reprimanded, or moved aside many times.

I would guess his work with the Haganah has saved his bacon a couple of times.

I would guess that you know who he is. Right?

I have been asking for prayer for the world. Because:

I don't sleep well before stuff like this happens. Call it my curse. I felt the war coming, just didn't know where. Strange, I can feel the wars coming - but not tornados, hurricanes, or earthquakes and tsunamis.

I disagree with you. Israel had their soldiers kidnapped by Hamas before they were kidnapped and shot by Hezbollah and the rockets started firing. Israel knows what most people in the west don't know or won't admit to - the driving force behind all these terrorist groups is to reclaim all the land they say Israel stole from them and to drive Israel into the sea, killing all Jews. The fact that you can feel when a war is coming on is easily explained - the Bible tells us what is going to happen in Israel in the end times and some of the nations that will be aligned against her. Israel has nothing to gain by starting a war and has bent over backwards trying to live peacefully with her neighbors, even by pulling out of southern Lebanon and the Gaza strip. What did Israel get in return? Attacks, threats, missles, and destruction.

Furthermore, as far as civilian casualties go, Arabs have a history of placing weapons in among so-called civilians, whether in Iraq or in Lebanon and the so-called Palestinian territories. They hide munitions in schools and hospitals and apartment high rises and then when the weapons are taken out by the opposition, they cry they are "victims" because innocent civilians are being killed. These groups don't care about innocent civilians except to use them for propaganda. Besides, the Quran says that if innocent muslims are killed during the jihad, they will go to paradise. You will find that the majority of the muslims on the street in the Arab world, Lebanon and elsewhere, support Hezbollah and Hamas and the other groups that have been deemed as terrorist groups. Also, the internet is full of support of islamic terror - whether Palestinian Jihad or the muhajideen in Chechyna or the Moro Islamic Liberation Front in the Philippines or Egyptian Brotherhood in Egypt or the "freedom fighters" for Kasmir in India - wherever they are on the planet, they are receiving monetary support and support of their cause throughout ALL of the islamic world on the street, whether the official government of each country admits it or not.

I am not sure what you are disagreeing with.

The fact that Israel chose to attack, does not change their justification. 2 soldiers were kidnapped. The last time soldiers were kidnapped, Israel negotiated. This time they targeted missle launch sites, related military targets, and civilian infrastructure. The last time soldiers were kidnapped, I don't think the world was distracted by N Korea attempting to test ICBM delivery systems. IMHO.

The IDF has targeted civilian infrastructure. Roads, airports, and border patrol points.

The reason to keep the soldiers from being transported is remotely possible - But, the IDF is trying to keep out additional rockets and missiles. The soldiers will become heros - but they will still be pawns in a much bigger game.

So, now we have MISSIONARY teams in harm's way that cannot leave. I can understand Christians desiring that missionaries die for the cause of Christ, but I do not think anyone wants them them to die needlessly. At least I pray that no one does.

We need to pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ. We need to pray for their safety from the evil one, and we need to pray that the churches in Lebanon have an opportunity to reach the lost in the Name of Jesus Christ.

I seriously doubt that Hezbollah will be hiding missiles in Christian neighborhoods. The UK is currently helping to evacuate Americans from Lebanon - just saw it on the news.

May we pray that God will protect the Christians, unless He chooses to allow them sacrificed as martyrs for the faith.

There is way too much military hardware being thrown around indiscriminately. It is too easy for innocent Christian missionaries to step in front of lead for me to be comfortable. Especially, since there seems to be no clear plan of attack. Missionaries cannot even make a good educated guess. The civilians that have made good guesses have watched border points, airports and roads blown up.

The Christians and missionaries in these muslim countries always have the threat of torture or losing their lives on a daily basis, with or without war going on. Persecutions of infidels is high and is particularly prominent for former muslims who leave islam.

Nevertheless, of course, we pray for their safety and we should all be doing on a daily basis, with or without a war going on. Iraqi Christians need covered with prayer as well and so do Iranian Christians, Christians in Egypt and Christians in Saudi Arabia and Turkey and Syria and all through the middle east and Africa and North Korea and China.
